AI Engineer Internship
AI Engineer Internship - Uniplay
We are looking for an AI Engineer intern who wants to shape how companies turn knowledge into engaging learning experiences. This is not a traditional software internship; at Uniplay, we use AI-agent workflows, source grounding, RAG, structured generation, and learning science to create adaptive learning from real company material. Over 12 weeks, you will prototype new AI workflows, test them on real or representative knowledge sources, and present recommendations to the team. If you are excited about AI-native development, agentic coding, learning technology, and moving fast from idea to prototype, this is your launchpad.
What you'll do
Prototype AI Learning Tools: Build experiments that improve how Uniplay creates, adapts, and evaluates learning content with AI.
Work with Real Knowledge Sources: Explore how documents, links, videos, and internal company knowledge can become useful learning experiences.
Experiment with New Learning Formats: Test ideas like interactive lessons, inline quizzes, diagrams, short-form learning, knowledge graphs, or AI-generated explanations.
Improve AI Workflows: Help identify bottlenecks in our AI production process and improve prompts, templates, evaluations, or internal tools.
Test and Evaluate: Run your prototypes on real or representative material, compare outputs, collect feedback, and analyze what works.
Present Findings: Deliver a final demo and report with recommendations on what should be developed further, improved, or parked.
Qualifications
AI-native mindset: You are excited about AI tools, agents, orchestration, and the new way of building software with AI.
Own AI projects required: You have independently built or seriously experimented with your own AI projects, such as agents, prompt workflows, LLM apps, automations, RAG prototypes, AI coding experiments, or learning tools. You should be able to show at least one concrete project, demo, repo, write-up, or clear example of what you built and learned.
Extreme drive: You have built or experimented with your own projects. You do not wait for permission. You make things happen.
Fast iterator: You prototype quickly, learn from feedback, and are comfortable with messy early-stage exploration.
Technical curiosity: Some coding ability or strong willingness to learn. TypeScript, Python, frontend prototyping, RAG, vector databases, or knowledge graphs are a plus.
Learning mindset: You are curious about how people learn and how AI can improve content creation, feedback, practice, and retention.
Strong communicator: You can explain your work clearly in Swedish and English.
